24 employees have been let go from Lightbox, however, they have all received a severance packages. Lightbox Interactive was founded by key members of Incognito Entertainment, a first party Sony studio that developed titles such as War of the Monsters and Warhawk. Currently, Starhawk is the only game Lightbox has shipped. Lightbox president Dylan Jobe confirmed the layoffs, and revealed that, from here on out, the studio would begin developing titles for iOS....

Ruh roh…the latest patch for Bethesda’s epic RPG, Skyrim has already started causing problems among users. Perhaps most concerning: all magick resistances are invalid - meaning mages will have a lot more difficulty as they progress through the game. Users have also experienced frame drop in some instances, as well. Bethesda is aware of the problem and is already working on another patch. Skyrim’s 1.2 patch had worked to solve a number of issues, but as it is with programming, fresh bugs will inevitably find their way into even a patched game....
Of course, Howard firmly believes that his Elder Scrolls sequel, Skyrim, is well-worth the normal $60 buy-in. Speaking with PSM3 magazine, the director laid-out his reasoning for a staggered pricing system. Unsurprisingly, the idea makes a lot of sense. Given reports that Skyrim will offer an unlimited number of dragons to fight, hardcore gameplay mechanics, and mod tools right after launch, it’s difficult to argue with Howard’s confidence in his own price point....
