With gamers and press alike preparing to make their yearly pilgrimage to Los Angeles for E3, Star Wars fans will have something else to add to their list of things to get excited about. According to Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson while speaking among investors, Star Wars: Battlefront will be making an appearance at this year’s gaming trade show. After so many years of waiting, it looks as though gamers may finally get that detailed look at the long lusted-after title....

The Old Republic’s story trailers show that the developers at BioWare are as committed to bringing a rich plot to their newest project as they have been to both Dragon Age and Mass Effect, but that isn’t all it takes to win fans. The latest video released for TOR comes all the way from PAX East 2011, providing a walkthrough of one of the game’s flashpoints called ‘Taral V.’ Now we have some images of gameplay to put alongside the great rivalry between the Jedi and Sith....

What happened in the finale of Succession? “This is Not For Tears” on HBO saw Logan decide to sacrifice his son Kendall (Jeremy Strong) in order to save himself. At the start of the episode, we see him trying to get out of the toxic situation he is in by getting rid of a number of non-Roy employees (Gerry, Cyd, Frank, Ray and Karl are all on the chopping block), but after a shareholder recommends to Logan that he should be the person to go, he realises he will need to take more drastic measures....

A recent Reddit post revealed how crazy some fans were for the Travis Scott Fortnite concert. One user claimed to have skipped his sister’s funeral only to attend the in-game concert of the hip-hop star. This supports the claim made by some about how Fortnite is partly to blame for the Astroworld 2021 incident. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed isn’t a poorly made game by any means, but it’s unlikely to beckon droves of gamers to the store immediately upon release. As seen in the debut trailer that released a few months back, the transformations of the various vehicles are aesthetically pleasing, and are way more “cool looking” (for lack of a better description) than the transformations in Mario Kart 7 – but a video game can not rely on graphics alone....

What’s next for Sonic after he celebrates his 20th anniversary in style? Well, according to Sonic Team, the next episode of Sonic The Hedgehog 4. You may remember Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 as a downloadable title from October of last year, acting as a 3D version of the older Sonic games from the Sega Genesis era - and taking place immediately following Sonic & Knuckles. It received a number of positive reviews, but no information regarding another episode in the series ever materialized, leading some to believe that there wouldn’t be one....

The aspect of Achievements we find most interesting is how we find out so much about a game before it releases through their descriptions. Soul Calibur V is no different and the list of achievements/trophies for the upcoming fighter has made its way online. While most of them are the expected ones from a fighting game, there are a few noteworthy achievements to highlight. In addition to the typical achievements for completing the story mode and beating a certain number of opponents online, there is one that makes mention of the new “Legendary Souls” mode - a boss rush mode where players face off against increasingly difficult bosses....

Some of you may remember that the Japanese Namco Bandai website put up a mysterious countdown about a week ago. That countdown is still ongoing, and could still lead to more information on SoulCalibur 5. However, the director of the game, Daishi Odashima, confirmed the game’s development via his Twitter account, and has been answering questions regarding the game since. Though he has yet to reveal any major bits of information, such as a potential release date, he has mentioned that Siegfried, who arguably had the main character role for most of the series, won’t be the main character for the next SoulCalibur....

Hopes are high for South Park: The Game. Last time we saw a South Park platform-game was back in the late 90s. The first big South Park game released was a self-titled entry for the Nintendo 64, which was later released on the PlayStation and PC. Two more games were released on the Dreamcast, PC, N64, and PlayStation. All of the games were released by the now closed publisher Acclaim....

Ubisoft has now settled the speculation by confirming that Splinter Cell Blacklist will be released on Nintendo’s Wii U, while also providing gamers with a glimpse of how the GamePad’s second screen will be integrated into the final product. The new screenshots show that the Wii U GamePad screen can be used to control Sam Fisher’s snake camera, whilst at the same time keeping an eye on the Sam Fisher to make sure no one’s sneaking up behind him, as well as for basic weapons management....
