Granted, two weeks isn’t a drastic delay, though after watching the brand new gameplay trailer for SSX, any wait at all seems much, much too long. It’s been a long road for SSX, from its underwhelming reveal on the 2010 Spike VGAs up to the triumphant announcement that RUN-D.M.C.‘s “It’s Tricky” is returning to the series. As the theme to SSX Tricky, RUN-D.M.C.’s classic accompanied countless players as they hurled themselves down the most surreal set of slopes the series had seen. That was then, this is now. SSX returns next February with an all new set of mountains based on NASA satellite data, and a wealth of social networking features....

It isn’t surprising to see that so many gamers recognized how unique and incredible an experience would be awaiting them from Bethesda, and our review showed that it didn’t disappoint. What is surprising is the sheer discrepancy between the numbers of the two different franchises. With Steam reporting concurrent Skyrim players of approximately 232,000 in the first day, and MW3 players of 78,000, one could deduce that in the end, PC gamers were all too ready to puruse their desire for dragon-slaying over that of shooting people....
Bethesda is introducing a Legendary difficulty into the game to make dragon battles and all enemy encounters a little more oomph. Players that have logged several 100 hours in the game can use the Legendary difficulty to add a little more challenge to the proceedings. To that point, the new update also includes a Legendary reset for level 100 skills. Think of this feature like Call of Duty’s Prestige system, whereby players can reset their skills back to level 15....
